So I’m laying on my driveway
And I’m looking at the sky, pondering. Wondering “why did I do this?” “Why am I out here? ” then I realize something, there are clouds in the sky and they are concentrated on one spot, my house. I look around onto the cusps and edges of the night sky and all I see is the glow of the, although faint, upcoming sun… I’m not sure if the sun or just the burn of lampost nearby, but it feels like a blendoku. Been laying here on this warm pavement with subtle winds blowing from all directions. Tree’s rustling as if they were speaking to one another. The ground is warm, but the air is tender. My hair finally falling on my face from the trials of the evening… Called her tonight, now I hate myself for being in my weakest. Tomorrow is a new day with sober thoughts and a promise of a good day, it’s up to us to not let personal issues hinder our mood.. I’m drunk. Good night
